Geumsan ginseng is a local specialty with a history of 1,500 years.


In 2022, the Geumsan County Office aimed to develop overseas markets to overcome the decline in consumption in the domestic market and the decline in sales of red ginseng at duty-free stores due to the pandemic.


Comma have diversified our marketing efforts to target their existing main markets of People's Republic of China, the United States, and Viet Nam, as well as the new markets of France and Cambodia. As part of marketing, we operated media promotion supporters using micro-influencers and live-commerce broadcasts through macro-influencers.




First of all, in the operation of media supporters, we tried to recruit influencers from various fields in order to provide wide exposure to various consumers. We recruited gastronomy-related influencers, popular influencers in each country, and so on. In addition, at the same time as the launch of influencer content, it entered overseas sales outlets such as Amazon so that actual sales could be made through the content.


Numerically, it was a project that significantly exceeded KPIs. Media Supporters aimed for 340 posts, but a total of 41 influencers uploaded 376 pieces of content. The goal was to do 7 live commerce broadcasts, but in the end, 40 were broadcasted, with approximately 570,000 consumers watching.



If you look at the media supporters by country, some of the Wang Hongs in People's Republic of China are award-winning influencers. In France, we recruited the president of the World Gourmet Association to interview him about Geumsan ginseng, which was broadcast on France TV stations too. Among the Cambodian influencers was Princess Jenna, who is also a princess and influencer.
